Can I share the family travel budget with my partner?
Yes, on iPhone and iPad. Share a trip and both parents log expenses into the same budget. Whoever is holding the wallet at the ice-cream stand adds the cost, and the running total updates for both of you. Nobody double-counts, and nobody has to chase receipts later. On Android a trip stays on the phone it was made on, so there it works best when one of you keeps the family budget.
Can I make categories for kids' activities?
Yes. Alongside the usual food, transport and accommodation, you can tag spending for things like attractions, snacks, souvenirs and activities. That way you can see at a glance what a family day out really cost and where the budget is going.
Does the budget sync across all our devices?
On iPhone and iPad, yes. PocketTrip syncs through your own iCloud, so a trip you start on your iPhone shows up on your iPad. On Android there's no sync between devices: the trip stays on your phone and Android backs it up to your own Google account. Trips don't sync between an iPhone and an Android phone either. Your data stays private on your devices, and nothing is stored on our servers.
